About DJ Redlite
Atoy Harris, known professionally as DJ Redlite, is a San Diego DJ, music producer and educator with 30 years behind the decks. He came up on hip-hop and R&B with a turntablist background and plays open format today, moving across hip-hop, R&B, house, disco and whatever the room calls for without losing the floor. He won Best Hip Hop/Rap Artist at the 2026 San Diego Music Awards. He plays private celebrations, company events and venue nights across San Diego County and Southern California, and brings the same preparation to every one: a conversation about the music first, equipment and timing sized to the room, then a set built for the people in it. Sound, microphones, lighting and backup gear come to every job. Off the decks he produces and mentors the next generation of artists.

Common questions
Yes. Every private and company booking includes a PA sized to the room, wireless microphones and backup gear. Venue nights normally run on the house system.
Yes, within the direction we agree on beforehand. Requests that fit the room get played; anything that would clear the floor gets set aside.
Yes. Introductions, toasts, cake, speeches and any other cues on your run of show, using only the announcements we agree on in advance.
San Diego County, North County, South Bay and Temecula are standard. Anywhere further in Southern California is quoted with travel.
A 50% deposit locks the date. The balance is due 14 days before the event.
A vetted substitute DJ is arranged, with your consent, and briefed on your music notes and run of show.
